Experience like no other!I had no idea what to expect when a trip to Longreach was gifted to celebrate a birthday - but have been just blown away!We did all the experiences - and to mention a couple - the sunset cruise on the paddlewheeler with the stockmans dinner after, what a great night! Fantastic food, entertainment and they had us laughing all evening. Priceless! The Cobb and Co Stagecoach was really something else! A thrill to be charging down the old mail route - like times of old. The staff were very helpful and attentive and hats off to the Kinnon family for giving us an experience of a lifetime. I'll be telling all my family and friends.
Great booking office for lots of tours in Longreach. They hsve a great cafe there and a small library
The customer service officer was abrupt in making the reservations. Did not inquire as to what are plans were, how long we planned to be in Longreach or what times would suit. She first sought payment & handed over the booking schedule for events to be attended. Needs retraining or a non customer contact role.
Ended up at the booking office to seek direction to accommodation, not realising the accommodation is under new management as we made our booking in January and hadn't looked at it since (nor was this explained by the booking office, we discovered this fact ourselves after the encounter)....The staff member did help, however the help was vague and we were spoken to as if we were stupid. Not a great first impression of Longreach and it doesn't make us want to rush to book any tours with you. Was a disappointing reception for our first visit to your town. It would've been a great opportunity for your staff member to sell your town and the tours you offer. Hopefully they were just having a bad day.Thank you for your reply below. We had booked directly through you so must have inadvertently missed the notification. It was more the manner in which we were spoken to that was our issue for which you've apologised and that is appreciated. We did ultimately go on to enjoy our Longreach stay and should we be visiting again in the future we will have a look at what experiences you have on offer. I have given you an extra star now as you took the time to reply and obviously do care about your customers.
