Friendly owner,4pm smoko, compared to other Carvanparks in the area this one has green grass and green frogs lol. Amenities very clean.Would stay there again
I really like this old fashioned camping ground mainly because it is old fashioned and it takes me back to the 60's when life (including camping) was simpler: more boring no doubt, but simpler definitely. Small grounds but with some nice green patches, basic but OK amenities, and best of all, a lovely owner who sets up morning and afternoon tea every day in the garden. Good social contact with fellow travelers.
We have traveled Queensland for 12 weeks and this is the worst park we have been in. Sites are small, many sites you cant open your awnings as the next van is so close, mostly dirt /dust base, electrical outlets are a 4 outlet power board, certainly a Safety issue . Bathrooms are mostly dirty with broken tiles, not a very pleasant place to visit. Certainly packed out when we were there and from talking to fellow visitors they won't be back either . . My recomendation is to Stay Away from this one . . . . . . .
A little dated but very friendly helpful hosts. Make sure you join the group for Morning and Afternoon tea. Great way to meet other travelers.
Was our first camping experience. It was nice and we were very lucky to have gotten space for a caravan and a tent. Only advice, it didnt feel real organised. Caravans were just placed anywhere. But the showers were clean and tidy.
