The stables were a great surprise. Awesome finishes, very spacious and comfortable. Definitely a step up for Longreach accommodation.
Neat little cabins, spotless and have everything you expect. Quiet, serene setting with lots of bushland and lots of eating options nearby. Lovely, lovely staff!
We stayed 4 days in a beautiful, rustic but luxurious hut at Longreach. It was clean and comfy. Parking was very good considering we were towing a trailer. Staff were friendly and efficient. I left a treasured book behind and they went out of their way to send it to us. Although they dont have a restaurant there is an excellent one at the motel next door. It is in a great position, being walking distance to the three main attractions at Longreach I can recommend the Saltbush Retreat to anyone wanting a bit of luxury in the bush.
